The attractions of Limerick City are many with King Johns Castle, the Hunt Museum, Dolans Pub and Restaurant plus many more dining options all within 10 minutes of the hotel. The University Concert Hall is about 15 minutes drive from us. Bunratty Castle and Folk Park is about 20 minutes away, as is Limerick Racecourse. Shannon International Airport is about a 30 minute drive.

King Johns Castle

University Concert Hall (UCH):  Currently operating as the biggest venue in the city. Concerts here range from performances by the internationally acclaimed Irish Chamber Orchestra, resident in UCH, to various opera and theatre, and performances from first class Irish and international bands, solo artists and comedians, catering for all generations. The Millennium Theatre at the Limerick Institute of Technology (LIT) is a magnificent 350-seat theatre.  It is Limerick’s newest, intimate and magnificent venue.  It hosts concerts, drama and musical events. Tel: 061 32 23 22.

The Burren (60 min drive): A geological wonder of terraced glaciated limestone. The Burren's flora, archaeology, geology, legends and history make it unique in Europe.
The Cliffs of Moher (60 min drive): The Cliffs of Moher are one of Ireland's top Visitor attractions. The Cliffs are 214m high at the highest point and range for 8 kilometres over the Atlantic Ocean on the western seaboard of County Clare.
University of Limerick Activity Centre: Choose from Sailing, Windsurfing, Kayaking, High Ropes, Archery or Orienteering to name but a few.  Kids’ camps, family activities and corporate events are a speciality.
